I bought two of these Onwote NVR/PoE security systems and they were easy to set up and use. suspended ceilings. Installation was very easy and you get everything you need right in the box (except maybe a screwdriver and a playback monitor). The cables are long enough to go almost anywhere. The cameras were plug and play, looked great and had decent audio. The GUI takes some time to understand, but everything you want to do is right at your fingertips. The second installation was a bit more complex, including a house with a separate garage. I had to route some cameras through a network switch connected to a router instead of directly to the NVR. Onwote support was very helpful and let me know exactly how to connect it and how to discover the cameras in the system. This time we chose 4K and the picture is AMAZING. I don't even have a 4K monitor to look at it, but it's very detailed and sharp. The sound is great again. And this setup had external cameras, and I'm amazed at how much IR these things put out and really illuminate the image at night. Clarity and viewing distance are excellent. The field of view is just right. I connected the NVR to the internet and downloaded the app and have no problem viewing my cameras anywhere. I can seamlessly play a month old video without being in the same state. Everything just works. There are also a lot of settings that I still have to deal with. Like setting up a schedule and motion detection for cameras so they don't take up storage space, setting up alarms and motion notifications to send to your phone, fine-tuning each camera's image, etc. In short, these systems have been great. . No complaints so far and I recommend them to anyone looking for a simple but reliable solution!
