I'm not new to using these purple conditioners. I've been bleaching my hair for about 2 decades now and have learned that when it comes to keeping your blondes looking fresh and copper-free, these supportive purple hair masks are a must. After a while your hair starts to take on yellow and copper tones which doesn't look good at all on my skin tone. I use this type of product every two weeks for maintenance. Of all the other types and brands I've used, this is definitely the most concentrated. It's a very deep dark purple. It spreads very widely and you don't have to use a lot to get full and thorough coverage. This is an extremely moisturizing treatment. Most other purple masks, shampoos and conditioners dry my hair out over time, but this one is very moisturizing. I didn't even feel the need to use a conditioner or even a leave-in conditioner after this treatment. Feels like salon quality. I followed the recommended leave for 5 minutes. As you can see from my photos, it is definitely effective. It took a lot of the copper tones out of my hair and left it a gorgeous natural blonde color. I was a little hesitant to leave it on for another optional 10 minutes because I didn't know if it would leave my hair gray or purple like some of the purple masks. I have absolutely no problem with my hair looking gray or purple so I'll leave it on longer next time. Some of the other reviewers have mentioned that this stuff smells really strong. I have to agree If you're sensitive to heavily flavored foods, this may not be for you. However, I like it very much and it even hangs on my hair after using it. Smells great. I was a little suspicious of the price as it's definitely less affordable than other brands, but this container goes a long way and is way more concentrated and nourishing for your hair than any of the other types I've tried, so I think it's justified .
