The first one took forever and it came broken into several pieces so I sent it back. I ended up buying a replacement and I like the way it looks. I think the price is reasonable. I cut up some lemons to garnish drinks and let them sit there for an hour or two and let the lemon juice soak into the marble. I think it needs some kind of protective layer. I even bought something from Revain that was supposed to remove marble scratches or damage but it didn't help in the slightest. Unfortunately you can't flip it because it's not the same surface on the other side. The only thing I could do to hide the damage was put some oil on the surface. So be careful with something acidic, like citrus fruits.
