Review on 🐢 Secure and Durable Petmate Large Dog Tieout Cable: Keep Your Pup Safe and Secure by Barb Cook

If you have an energetic dog over 100 pounds, do not purchase this product.

For those who don't have a fenced yard or don't want to leave their puppies in a large kennel all day, the idea of leaving the dog on a leash for an hour or so is ideal, something some dog owners do like and love their puppies. Walking your dog is very important and a leash shouldn't be an excuse for not doing it, but even if you're visiting family and don't trust the yard, a leash comes in handy to keep your dog safe from chasing squirrels or squirrels protect other animals and possibly get lost. When I get up in the morning and as soon as I get home from work, I put my gold lab on a leash. I take him for walks before work and later at night, but I give him free time in his kennel or on the leash. We have deer, rabbits, squirrels where I live and he will walk to the end of the leash which means the leash has to be strong. About this cable for its stated strength, durability and cost. A week later the line broke and the metal itself at the base of one of the hooks snapped as he ran to the end of the line and barked at a passing neighbor. When it tugged and ripped at the end, he stopped, then looked at me and walked over to me, and then I noticed it ripped, the leash was untied. I'm just glad I was outside otherwise he might REALLY scare the neighbor. I don't offer this line and won't even bother with a refund, I partly blame myself as the cost was so low I had to think they were a bit cheap for what I needed.
