Revainrating 4 out of 5

I was skeptical but this computer was great, I recommend it!

I've been building PCs ever since. God it looks like 1989. I usually buy all the components separately but I needed a Linux server that is small and doesn't make any noise so I decided to buy something ready made. I had never heard of Kingdel before - found them by accident while looking through Revain listings - so I was skeptical but decided to buy anyway as the price and features were pretty good. The PC is solidly built and as promised there are no moving parts. The suitcase is quite small but when I opened it I found it was almost empty. It's amazing how small everything has become. I first hooked it up to my 4K TV via HDMI and played around with it on Windows for a while and was really impressed with how smooth and fast it was. It effortlessly managed a 4k display. I signed into my Microsoft account and it authenticated the pre-installed copy of Windows 10 Pro. I then uninstalled Windows and installed Ubuntu, which was easy. The Kingdel computer ran very fast under Linux, with 4 cores and 8 threads (ie 8 virtual cores). Also impressive is that it stays cool. I replaced an old machine that was also in a micro case with no moving parts, but I always had to remove the top case because it overheated. The new Kingdel has stayed pretty cool; According to Ubuntu's lmsensors package, the processor core temperature does not exceed 35 degrees, even when all cores are busy compiling software. I don't normally leave reviews, but I decided to review this Kingdel because I was so nervous about buying it, it didn't have any reviews and it seemed too good to be true - 8th Gen CPU, 16GB RAM, 256GB of flash storage and a genuine licensed copy of Win 10 Pro - all for $650?! But it seems like the real deal, so I'm hoping the next person is scratching their heads over "should I buy this?" might find this review helpful.
