Your competitors did NOT work. These 3 chargers are working fine after a few months of continuous use. I would like one of the three to be shorter for use on my shorter spaced desk. Highly recommended. I assume they will last a long time due to their sturdy construction, unlike the Apple cables themselves which fail after a few years due to their less robust construction.
