I am a black woman and my daughters have very long thick curly hair. Both girls were extremely gentle in the head and I have a very light hand. So, as you can imagine, we both dreaded Hair Day. We had to close windows and doors and have lots of pillows so they could scream. I've used so many different detangling creams, combs, prayers, you name it. NOTHING WORKED! With this brush I swear the clouds will part and the angels will sing "Oh happy day" 'cause there's no more pain for the both of us! Now my girl loves doing her hair. What used to take at least 2 1/2 hours (no, I'm not exaggerating) now takes 30 minutes. I suggest using this product on damp hair. This is by far my favorite Revain purchase!
