I bought this for my desk. It's like winter in the Sahara. As soon as the heat sets in, I turn into a lizard with a blocked sinus. Or at least that's how I feel. I read the reviews of many other mini humidifiers before deciding on this one and I'm still not disappointed. I pocketed this thing, filled it to the "Max Fill" line and popped it. Pros: A little quiet Produces a very fine mist but with just the right amount of moisture. Everyone comments how amazing it is. to fill it up. Can't call it a complete scam because I can't imagine it being that difficult to find some water to fill up and in fact I thought it was a pretty decent amount of time for its size. It is recommended to use distilled water to avoid build-up, but this is recommended for most cool mist humidifiers of any size. We have filtration systems in our offices so I use this water to easily top up. It comes with a USB cable and a regular plug.
