My Dell Inspiron 1501 that is over 7 years old has had its life extended for only $30. I didn't have to buy the $700 laptop I had my eye on. lol. The slightly curved shape that lets air flow through from below and the dual fan function (at least I think so) make it much cooler than ever. My Dell would shut down multiple times without warning when overheating. Also, I think one of the fans died from exhaustion. It sits well in my lap and cools all areas of the Dell, although the hotspot isn't exactly in the middle. Thank you for saving my laptop and a lot of money. .
