I am 5’9 Apple Shape and the dress came to my ankles. I typically wear a 24 and bought a 3x and 4x. Both fit and everyone said the 3x looked better but I felt more comfortable in the 4x because I typically wear loose fitting clothes. Neither was actually tight because the fabric it is a forgiving. Especially the arms which can sometimes be a problem area for me. The lace does not look or feel cheap or itchy. However it will snag so be careful about evening bags, rings and bracelets. I am happy with my purchase. I was attending a black tie gala and this dress was PERFECT! My dress meshed well with the tuxedos and ball gowns. I was very nervous because the price was so low so it stayed in my cart for a long time. If this you go ahead and buy you will not have buyers remorse.
