My son is 5 and I had to increase the size to 1 small child as 9.5 was out of stock. He has enough room to bear next year and won't let her grow! The outer material is a mesh that allows the foot to breathe and the shoe to drain water. I love this shoe sole which I know will keep him comfortable.
