I didnโ€™t really believe, but the flies die

Flies are a real scourge for residents of private homes. And if there are animals, then just horror. Do not enter, do not approach. And in our area, ASF is also raging. The pigs are dying in batches. There is no cure or vaccine. So we try our best to save our pigs. In addition to quarantine, we are fighting flies. This is the most difficult, because you have to fight not indoors, but on the street. Everything is used - dichlorvos, tapes, baits. A neighbor's husband sells agrochemicals and sheโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Flies die
Cons
  • Not always convenient to use

The name says the best about horses

Used these last year but left the rest in my shed. The harsh weather has frozen everything. The product did not work with frozen foods. However, I bought it in the summer and it worked quickly, and now I know I'll have to keep the product at home during the winter. There are no flies on my mare's snout. They used to look like runways and had to be oiled. That works great!

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

We had a very bad flight problem

I can't say enough about it. We had a very bad fly problem. We live in Northeast Texas where the humidity is perfect for her. After just one 3lb pack, the flies are almost completely gone! In the past, 20 flies landed in our cars when we opened the doors. We sailed out and the flies returned a week later. We've since bought a 10lb bucket. Never stop doing that stuff during those meetings ever again!

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Helps reduce flies in the barn

It helps reduce flies - not sure by 80% as one reviewer suggested; but we have seen an improvement over the last hot and humid Georgia summer. We didn't have any luck with robber flies because we don't build a "dung heap" but use a manure spreader every day. Perhaps a combination of SimplyFly and Robber Flies would work best. It doesn't smell and the small granules are easy to use as a supplement to regular horse feed - horses seem to like it.

Pros
  • Good value
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Good Product - Fly Repellent

I have used these 2 years running along with fly traps in and around my barn and have been very happy with the results. I try to start in March before the flies show up and continue through the end of summer. I got flies in the beginning, but not in large numbers. In the middle of summer I have almost NO FLY STOCK. My blacksmith was out yesterday and immediately noticed the extremely low number of flies in my stable. It is very easy to add to horse feed and they will absorb it readily. I willโ€ฆ

Great for Horses

I have a boarding house and all the owners use it. I have used Equitrol before but I prefer this product as it is not an insecticide but a hormone that stops the growth of insect (fly) skeletons in the dung thus reducing the fly population. It is a fly-killing feed, which means that it is not ingested by the horse but passes through the droppings. I not only use it for fly control but also as part of a manure management plan. I would prefer to leave the manure in the fields to increaseโ€ฆ

  • Absolutely Amazing!

  • Not sure

Don't expect 97-100% but it helps

My first season of trying this started in April. It's easy to use, horses love it and the fly population has decreased noticeably compared to years past. Nothing will completely kill flies - you will always have them if you have horses. So it's nice to find affordable products that help keep them under control, and Simplify certainly does. However, the company's claims of 97-100% efficiency are ridiculous; I would estimate that it's around 50-75% for us. But it's enough for me to make itโ€ฆ

  • Free for educational purposes
