I was initially skeptical when looking for this check valve due to comments here saying the threads were misaligned and it didn't fit fully. Well I had to replace it to get through the smog as my SES light kept popping up and triggering a code P1416. So I ordered it and I can tell you that it fits my 02 Camaro SS perfectly. Fairly easy to replace, I found it a bit difficult to tighten the check valve when installing but was able to do it without removing the entire pipe assembly like other people claimed they had to do. Fitted a check valve and drove the car after clearing the code and my SES light didn't come on anymore and best of all I passed the smog so I would definitely recommend it to all Camaro ls1 owners, it's a perfect fit .
