Bought on February 24, 2022. I ran it through games and music, which led to complete disappointment. Here you need to pause your negativity . I have been using Hyper X Cloud Core for almost 6 years (bought on 10202222), I had to change it because the soft headband cushion was all peeled off and deteriorated (I changed the ear pads 4 times), and bother with aliexpress and disassembly -I didnβt want to assemble the rim. If you have never used this kind of headset, then take it, if you still use the very first headphones from the Cloud line, then you should not change, it is better to take Cloud II. As far as I understand Alpha and Alpha S is a cheaper version of Cloud II and Cloud Core, hence all the consequences. PySy: Through USB it is better to use only in 7.1 mode. If you, like me, have a Realtek 1220-VB motherboard with an ESS SABRE9118 DAC chip, then itβs better to find a 3.5 mm splitter (although the sound is less). PySy2: Why don't they sell regular Hyper X Cloud Core anywhere, only with an unnecessary 7.1 remote control ?! I will add: All these disadvantages are connected precisely because of the clamped high frequencies. Why it was necessary to do this, I do not understand.
