I wanted a monitor that does everything well enough, without fuss and easy to connect. If this was my only monitor, everything would be fine. However, I have a second DP monitor. Because this brand new monitor (to my surprise) doesn't have a DP connector (!?!), and because this monitor only offers full sound/camera/mic functionality when connected via USB-C. It's not possible to use this monitor as a hub without giving up my DP monitor. I had to keep my old hub and all the extra cable connections I was hoping to get rid of in order to use my second monitor. I agree with the comment about the camera. I don't mind it much, but given the price, these are two major failures in my book.
