Good quality, just what I was looking for. I have a nice 6 1/4" leather laptop stand and this piece is too long to fit snugly in the lid. 1/4" long so there is an instant disconnect. But I figured my 6th 1/4" laptop would be just right. nope It just flops. I need to understand how to shorten or return a rubber band. Really very sorry. Update: I added another star and noticed that you can adjust the length of the elastic by pulling part of the elastic back through the slot and folding it under the leather pen holder. The friction will hold it in place. It's pretty flimsy, but my criticism was a bit harsh.
