I was quite impressed when I plugged in this little fan and turned it on. On low, it moves a lot of air. On high, it is quite powerful! You wouldn't have thought it from such a little fan. I've only had it a couple of weeks, but it is exactly what I needed for my office in Florida. On low, you can barely hear it. But if you have it on high, it does make a lot of noise. But then again, it's putting out a lot of air so it doesn't surprise me. It depends what you're looking for. Do you want something that is super quiet, or do you want something that cools you off? If you're looking for something that cools you off, this will work!
