When I first received and unpacked it, I went and tested it. I took it to a waterfall to see how durable it is for long exposures and how it behaves when the wind blows on it. He did a very good job. He did really well. My only concern for the future are the internal tripod legs, which protrude from the main tripod leg casings. The inner legs of the tripod are made of plastic and are fixed by turning. I understand that the mini tripod is meant to reduce weight and be more modular. I will worry about them wearing out if I turn them to lock after 200 uses. That's the only thing that worries me. Otherwise the ball head is very good, the Arca Swiss mount is also very good. In addition to the camera bolt, you will need a coin or flat head to attach the plate to the lamp or camera. If there was a D-joint I wouldn't have to carry tools around. But it is durable and very well made. All in all I really like the tripod and can't wait to try it again. I recommend this tripod to anyone who wants to reduce the weight of their hiking gear and set up the tripod very quickly.
