Seems HP has a new trick to get more out of its ink business through a subscription model. I thought maybe it's just me, but I see a bunch of other recent reviews with the same thing. Bought at the end of February. We almost never print anything on this printer. Their app says we write an average of 29 pages a month, and I feel like the last few months have been even easier. Two months have passed and the new black cartridge is empty. I'll probably buy another one now because I need something for my kids' school, but after that I'll consider a new non-HP printer.
