Doesn't work when dry but dries fairly quickly, even in the shade. Have to check often. Don't even try to use it in the sun. The plastic cover is dirty as recommended. Plastic collects most of the stripper. What worked was covering it with one of the plastic lids that come with sheet cakes. Then, even when you think you're done and start sanding, the sandpaper will grab more of the surface, indicating another sanding operation is needed. The original finish may have been lacquer, so it took several tries. This may work more effectively on other surfaces. The product was sufficient.
