I got this crepe maker as a gift for my boyfriend and he just loves it! So far this has worked very well and he has been making pancakes with almost every meal for a whole week after getting them. He actually wanted one with a handle that you dip into the dough, but I found this one more original and now know from experience that it's a lot easier to manipulate. You can also use it to prepare other dishes, which I really like – the versatility is great. Learning to spread the batter with a wooden skewer is pretty easy, and surprisingly, a wooden spatula works great too. It took him a few tries to get rid of it, but with my light touch I managed to make a pretty perfect pancake on the first try (so I'd say it's pretty easy for everyone and easier for others - patience is key! ) . I highly recommend watching a video on how to make it before attempting it if you've never made pancakes before. it was very helpful for us!
