Start becoming a fan of the Apexel brand because the quality of a smartphone telephoto lens is impressive. If you look at the photos, the actual lens seems to be as durable as one of those old durable metal Mag flashlights. The included carrying case with all relevant clips makes installation easy. Was surprised that an extra remote came with it as well but haven't had a chance to use it yet as it might come in handy if I buy the extra stand I saw when looking for accessories. As for real photography, it depends partly on the skill of the photographer and partly on the quality of the lens. As for price, from the world of DSLRs, it's hard to argue that there's a cheaper starting point for long-distance shooting than this $50 lens for your smartphone.
