I first bought this comb for myself (an adult woman with two cats so I was attracted to the cat shape). I have damaged/sensitive bleached hair and this comb is beautiful, gentle and detangles well. I also like that spare bristles and a small cleaning brush are included. The only downside is that the short handle really isn't designed for grown-up hands. I ended up gifting it to a friend's daughter and bought a large wooden comb instead. But overall a great brush!
