************Update: The top strap broke the third time I wore them and I had to return them as defective. I'm concerned, but will probably purchase another pair due to the fit and feel. Disappointed they broke, though.************BUYING MOTIVATOR: I purchased these shoes for work because I needed shoes that were all-day wearable and would hold up over time. I figured dance shoes would work, and I was right! These low-heeled basic black shoes are so comfortable and will go with almost everything I wear to the office.DESIGN: These shoes are designed so well, with a supportive arch & padded footbed.plus, there's even a notched out area at the back of the heel to avoid rubbing where one would develop a blister. As pictured, they are very traditionally styled and completely cover the toes so no rubbing in those areas either! Super sturdy and easy to walk in, I would highly recommend these as every-day footwear for conservative or mature women such as myself.FIT: These shoes run pretty true to size. I generally wear either size 8 or 8.5 (depending on how slim the shoe is) as I have fat-ish feet that are prone to swelling over the day. I have problems buying shoes that are comfortable; that won't cut into my feet and leave my fat/skin pouring over the sides. I went with an 8.5 due to the heel, and they fit like a dream! The top strap has room for adjusting tighter and looser depending on my level of swelling.QUALITY: They arrived super quickly and come complete with a very nice shoebox and dust bag - just like high-end brands. The sole of the shoe is smooth yet they do not feel slippery when walking on hardwood or tile floors. There is adequate padding on the inside footbed that adds additional comfort and wearability over a long day. The materials appear to be high quality and the shoe well made.BOTTOM LINE: I am extremely pleased with my purchase and am considering buying this same shoe in its different variations (higher heel, nude color, etc.). This purchase way exceeded my expectations and are extremely versatile - professional, casual or dressy.
