I paid a professional installer $150. It is lost. The product does not work at all on the 2014 MB SLK 250. Nothing works. Won't connect The screen turns off. System error warnings are displayed. The functions declared by the seller do not work. Customer service is useless. Time zones make it impossible to get instant answers. The update sent did not help. The product should work right away, but it doesn't. I spent hours fixing a defective product. Finally gave up and returned. Attention buyers. UPDATE: The company sent me a software update that should have fixed all my issues. I downloaded the update and the device didn't work at all. The company sent another update. I downloaded it and there was a big improvement in connectivity and functionality. Unity is a problem. It works, but not without problems. There is a short pause when you use the steering wheel button to communicate with Carplay. I'm keeping it because my SLK didn't have a rear camera and Carplay fills that need. The mirror function works best. Mirroring function, GPS navigation system and camera are the best features. Since it works now, I would give the system 3.5 stars. Hopefully you don't have to go through the trouble I did and your device will start working right away.
