Not bad at all. The sound quality is as good as any other recording device, and the bonus is that you can use it in court without question. I was selected as a juror and checked this during the jury selection. I was impressed. The courtroom was a good size and the judge spoke softly. I listened to it in my car, at almost full volume at the time, given the size of the room and the machines' distance from the judge - I can say there was no background noise to distort the integrity of the recording, which came from other machines , which I have previously used in the past. Works even better in small spaces. (I used my courtroom experience as I thought it would be useful to know about variable tape capacity and the advantages that exist in our court systems when there is no cell phone policy.)

Cons
  • Reliability
