Review on ⚙️ KSTAD504D Keystone 50 Pint Dehumidifier with Electronic Controls, White by Charles Thomas

We bought two of these due to the high humidity as they were a good price at the time ($160). They worked very well, pulling over 3 gallons of water per day from the air with no problems. All dehumidifiers make noise and considering it's in the basement we hardly noticed it so I can't join the noise complaint unless you're planning on putting it in a bedroom or office. The main problem I have is that one stopped working less than 2 months after purchase (the fan was working but either the evaporator or condenser failed) and the other is still working perfectly. As received also had an issue with the level switch where the bucket would fill to the very top making it difficult to empty but given the price I had no issues with that. We contacted customer service and after being asked questions again which I had already answered, they said they would contact me for a replacement. It's been over 2 weeks and still no word from them. It's not a bad product for the money when it works but I'm very disappointed with the customer service in terms of replacing something that has failed in less than 2 months. Solid 5 star product but with less than 2 months outage and the hassle of replacing the unit I just can't give it more than 3 out of 5.
