These hangers have two main advantages over cheaper plastic hangers: If you have stacked closets and want to store things underneath your hanging clothes, these hangers will be of great help. 2) These hangers are much thinner but stronger, allowing you to fit more clothes on a given length of rod. They looked amazing, I was amazed at how much space these hangers actually added to my closet and how many more shirts I was able to hang after switching from thick plastic hangers. I have a tiered closet, these hangers hold my shirts higher than the plastic hangers, allowing me to store more folded shirts under hanging items.
