I bought a SafetyPUP XD dog vest about 2 weeks ago and am completely satisfied with this product. I train my Border Collie, Kibo, in the nearby woods and as hunting season begins I have serious safety issues. I didn't think an aerosol can with "DOG" written on its sides would work well if the hunter went blind from "bull fever" so I finally found this vest and that's it, and more than I expected would have. The material is very durable (lightweight and also thin), which is important since on our hikes Kibo rattles through bushes, undergrowth, branches and the like as it circles me, and the fabric, like Kevlar, feels indestructible. Velcro closures make the custom fit a perfect fit for the dog, fitting like a glove without seeming to compromise their pace, speed or endurance when running. The front part of the vest, closest to the collar, does not interfere with attaching the leash, which helps when approaching or from the car, and also makes tying quick and easy, and Velcro fasteners are also fast. Kibo's visibility from a distance is amazing, I can spot and follow him from a greater distance than before. In addition, the vest can be easily washed when it is wet or dirty and after sport the vest can be folded up and stowed away for the next time (every day for him). I am very satisfied with this product. I had another dog vest before and didn't like it at all, really no comparison. The price compares favorably to other vests I have reviewed and is well worth it. Very happy with it.
