I needed to use a CPAP machine and woke up every morning with frizzy hair sticking out of my hat. I thought a silk sleepyhead would protect my hair from rubbing, and it worked! Now my hair looks great in the morning. This hat is big enough, I can even pull it forward enough to cover my face from the hat so I don't wake up with a wrinkled cheek. The fabric is luxuriously smooth and dense, yet breathable; I'm menopausal and overheat very easily so I was worried the hat would get too hot, but that's not the case at all. And the elastic at the back is closed so as not to irritate the skin. I don't mind being seen in it either. Although I didn't care how it looked, it's cute; It resembles the turban worn by actresses in old movies. I'm so happy with this hat that I'm going to order another one in a different color.
