Hmm. I'm not sure what to say about that. The color is ok, if a little more purple than shown online, and is very smooth to the touch. But what worries me is how thin it is. I bought it for an unusual use, to cover the velvet back of a sofa to protect it from the inevitable "head stains" that form over time. I was hoping it would be sufficient to stay in place for a week or so as opposed to what I'm using now, but so far I don't think it will be. It's long enough to serve as a decorative scarf or even a cape, but if 19 years in Boston has taught me anything, it's unlikely to serve as a silencer.
