These mid-calf boots are stylish, sturdy, and comfortable but are better suited for wider ankles and calves. I purchased two pairs, black suede and gray. The shoe area fits true to size in length and width (they are Medium width). While the shaft (ankle and calf area) was too wide for me. But I loved the boots and didn't want to send them back. So I took them to my local shoe smith and had the shafts taken in to suit my proportions - well worth the cost! Plus, I helped support a local mom-pop business!
