These were the XLFs I normally use, but as the tanks are a little short (6 gallons each) I figured 1 gallon of these in each wouldn't hurt. No problems so far, and from what I've learned, XLF just has slightly more anti-wear additives for older or "hardened" engines. So again, it doesn't hurt. Great value for money. If I didn't have an HPDI engine or just an old cheap 2-stroke I would most likely still use XLF or this if it was a very small outboard maybe regular TCW3 oil. Every review I write is based solely on my own experience and use of the product. I haven't been paid, received free products, or a discount on any of the items I'm reviewing. I prefer my reviews to be "short and sweet".
