I like Corsair as a brand for their cases and storage products and this is the first product I have bought outside of these products from them bought categories. The sound tends to boost the mids with only slightly tinny highs. I was surprised that the bass is decent. (For example, in the song "Pull Me Under" Dream Theater has a very deep bass in the intro, which these headphones pick up, this is one of the first tests I did with speakers), but the lower the frequency, the better the lower the volume when mixing. Acceptable in this price range. They seem very durable. I have a large head (hat size 8 1/4) with larger than usual ears that sit almost flat on my head and these headphones are very comfortable for me. The overall volume is slightly higher. than my previous (which broke) Logitech G430 set, and I was pleasantly surprised that the Logitech USB-DAC works when I plug these headphones into it (since they don't come with a DAC but with a splitter to use a traditional microphone to be delivered /speakers). plugs into your computer) I would recommend them to anyone looking for a headset on a budget.
