Not included 3.5mm audio/mic Y-splitter

Apparently only the black version comes with a 3.5mm audio/mic Y-splitter delivered? I bought the "red" color and it was missing making it unusable on PC.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Quick start guide

The headset is good but there is no Y-splitter.

I just received and unpacked the headset. The first impression of the headset is that it sounds good and feels comfortable. I quickly realized that a 3.5mm Y-splitter was not included for the audio and microphone. For a PC gamer, this is an essential component that is essential. Right now my computer doesn't recognize the mic at all because I don't have a Y-splitter. I am considering returning this item. Not because it's defective, but I didn't get a Y-splitter that renders the headset useless…

DO NOT BUY good for PC

I've had bad luck with headsets lately and decided to go with a mainstream brand. I've heard that Corsair has upgraded the quality of their peripherals and after doing some research I settled on this one. Right out of the box the cable is VERY short, if you don't connect it to the controller you'll definitely need an extension cable, which of course is bought separately, but let's not talk about that, let's talk about the sound quality. Probably the worst sounding headset I've ever experienced…

Design flaws Best in Accessories

I've been playing for about 15 years. I've tried many headphones. I usually use the cheapest crap I can find. Last time I had a headset that I got direct from China and it lasted over 2 years without any problems until the plastic microphone broke. So I decided to splurge a little and get something better. I love that this headset has a detachable microphone, it's amazing! I also like the padding, it doesn't hurt the ear and it's not too hot. However, it has a serious design flaw. In less than…

They seem to be "fair " compared to the current headset market

I like Corsair as a brand for their cases and storage products and this is the first product I have bought outside of these products from them bought categories. The sound tends to boost the mids with only slightly tinny highs. I was surprised that the bass is decent. (For example, in the song "Pull Me Under" Dream Theater has a very deep bass in the intro, which these headphones pick up, this is one of the first tests I did with speakers), but the lower the frequency, the better the lower the…

The best bang-for-your-buck headset out there?

I recently bought a $30 Black Friday headset. Well I thought at first this was another headset to break in the next 2 weeks but so far I'm very impressed with the bass. The mids and highs are excellent when gaming, but grenades and footsteps can be hard to hear at times, which is a little frustrating. Again, keep in mind that I only paid $30 for this headset, so having bass as the only sound issue is pretty impressive. Processing quality: I would also give the processing quality 4 out of 5…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Expensive

Suitable for gaming Headset

These headsets actually have a very good price-performance ratio. The bad reviews I've seen mostly complain about the lack of a splitter, and it's not Corsair's fault that the consumer can't figure out which model is specifically for the PC, and Revain gives this on every model clearly on. The headset itself looks a bit cheap, but this is also an entry-level device. If you take care of them, they will last a long time. The sound quality is actually pretty good, again for the price. It's not 7.1

3.5 mm adapter: Headsets

This is my second pair. I think the headphones are great. big enough to buy 2 of them. I use one in my recording studio. They have the right amount of frequency response. I use the other for both gaming and Zoom meetings. The problem I have with this set is that it lacked the all-important 3.5mm jack. I bought my first pair from Target. It comes with a female-to-male connector for audio and microphone. I need this adapter for my laptop. Now I need to separate the adapter I use for my studio…
