I have medium length, 2c/3a wavy, curly, thin, medium density, low porosity hair that loves protein. That being said, I've found that many people reviewing this product say they don't like this product and it left their ends dry and brittle/chipping. This is called protein overload. Before washing and styling, it is very important to understand your hair and its needs. Have you noticed that your hair has become dry? Use moisturizing, protein-free products that keep the skin hydrated. Have you noticed your hair lacking elasticity, definition and looking limp? Eat protein rich foods. The latter mostly applies to me. I often need some protein in my hair regimen, so I try to stay away from heavy moisturizing products and only use them occasionally. It's not that it's a bad product, you just have to know when is the best time to consume it as it's packed with proteins. I also recommend using this product in VERY SMALL QUANTITIES. Start with a coin-sized amount, stretch out your palms and see where it takes you. Since you only need a small amount, this product is definitely worth the price and you will get great bang for your buck. I'm not sure how this product works on curly and frizzy hair so I'm only speaking for those with hair textures similar to mine as I have not used this product on other hair types.
