I bought a "universal" cable lock for a laptop that wasn't "universal" at all . Returned it and received the exact new Dell laptop model my client had and it works and fits like a charm. When looking for a cable lock for your laptop, always check the size and type of security slot for your specific model. Besides the fit, it had a good length, the combination was easy to adjust and it had a convenient opening and closing mechanism. Teeth that fit into the security slot. Connecting your laptop to this port makes a great lock and should deter theft.
