By far the best ring light I have ever owned. This is my fourth! I wanted something significantly larger than my others to use for overhead shots in my videos. I have a decent studio light and my other ring light is great. But this is a whole new league. Advantages of Pixel Light over others: 1. Bolt-on phone mount. You don't have to worry about loose springs or your phone falling. This mount is very secure, even with a suitcase. The small ball head mount is also suitable for light cameras. It fits the Nikon Coolpix B500 but I don't think I would trust it with a heavy DSLR with a set of lenses. Haha2. The controls are user friendly. I didn't even have to read the instructions to know what to do. It's as simple as pushing a button and turning a knob. The LCD also tells you what you're messing with. I prefer to set the brightness higher and tend towards warm light when shooting from above. Makes things look like "real life".3. The remote control makes a big difference when shooting. I don't have to get up from my desk to change settings. I just use the remote control and keep shooting. You can make changes on the fly without wasting time on the video. It comes in handy for unpacking live broadcasts, of course. Opens many new possibilities.4. Filter. The other three ring lights I own have no filters. They make you white and warm. that's all. It comes with replaceable filters. Installed white and there are red and blue. I'm not sure what I'm going to use this for in my regular videos, but it might be interesting for some cool Halloween videos. Ha-ha5. The light itself is absolutely massive. This is the biggest ring light I own and I frigging love it. The tripod is also large enough to easily support the weight when shooting overhead. Also, and this is probably unique to me, it sits almost perfectly in the middle of my desk. On my smaller 16 inch. Light, I have to take care of it. Overall, I'm glad I took this light. I now have a fantastic ring lamp (in this case), a good ring lamp and two mediocre smaller ring lamps. Perfect for my overhead shots.
