Ideal for observing the sky.
Almost useless unless you want to see airplanes fly. I thought it had a rearward tilt to better position the mirror, but it points straight up at the sky when my hands are on the grille. You'd have to awkwardly try to bend your wrist all the way back to see behind you, and even then it still doesn't work. It's convex in shape but doesn't give you a wide field of view at all.
