Review on πŸ”Š Tranesca Portable Wireless Night Light Bluetooth Speaker with 7 Color LED, Smart Touch Control, Handsfree Calling, Phone Compatibility, and Support for MicroSD/TF Card by Julius Lito

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It's ok if you're looking for a cute night light that plays music.

Pros: Bluetooth connects very easily and stays connected over 30 feet. The volume can be cranked very loud with very little distortion and no noticeable rattling in the speaker cabinet. The lighting is a nice feature. The color changing setting is relaxing. The battery lasted just over 12 hours at low volume with the lowest night light setting. The SD card was recognized and worked properly. I have over 40 years of experience in electronics design and consumer product manufacturing. They are mil certified for soldering so I opened the case and checked the soldering quality of the components on the board. The soldering is actually very good for a product in this price range. soldered to the board, which prevents the connector from being unplugged from the board when connecting the USB cable. In the past I've seen many who didn't solder the case and the micro USB connectors on them kept breaking, breaking the product. can't charge anymore unless you can solder such tiny parts. I've repaired many of these that I found in the junk at work. Cons: IMHO bass and overall sound is muddy, but decent for this type of product. Bluetooth master volume not working properly in Win10. I was able to get it working using a windows registry hack I found online. It might be a problem with the BT version. I don't know what version of BT is used in this product. But the iPhone and Android phone were connected and the volume control worked properly. The keys are very small and don't seem to last long. The on/off button was already stuck during my test. While having the block open, I tested the mechanical interface between the button and the actual switches. The plastic plunger that pushes the electrical switch for the mode and power buttons was misaligned (off-center) due to the curvature of the case. I assume they will wear out quickly. Setting the clock and alarm can be a bit of a hassle. During testing it blocked without any functions working. I couldn't turn it off. Nothing but changing the light settings. I didn't know at the time that the small hole on the bottom of the case was used to reset the device, so I just waited for the battery to die so it could restart. After recharging it worked without any problems. The night light gets much brighter than its original minimum setting the longer it's on. I have a question: do you want to turn off BT automatically and switch to another device? It is not. I don't know if it has anything to do with how old the BT version is in this product. What is the BT version? Transeca gave me a full refund for this product as I am a member of their bonus club. I didn't have to leave a review to get a refund, but I did it anyway. It hasn't changed my product rating. My honesty is worth more than the price of this or any other product I am reviewing. I don't give 5 stars if I feel the product doesn't deserve them.
