Norelco did a great job with these guards! The shorter guard keeps the intimate parts perfectly trimmed without a single notch. You have to be careful with "bloody" boys with cuts. If you put a fold of skin between the ends of the protector you will cut yourself. That's a razor. Just keep the protection mostly flat against the skin so there's no problem. Phew, you might have to touch yourself to stretch the skin of your scrotum. Karen, this isn't a 30-second cleanup job. I used to clear One Blade from the guards - very carefully. The guards are amazing! It's also a wonder there's no more pubic hair around the toilet! The longer guard works great for keeping my chest mat short. From time to time my heart is monitored by a dozen nasty contact lenses taped to my chest. These needles love pulling on chest hair! Now they are much easier to remove. The One Blade without the guard is still great for trimming necks, mustaches, etc. The set is a bit pricey but I'm glad I tried it. worth your money!
