The bag fits a laptop, except it's a bit odd on one corner. Where it has to go through the Alcantara fabric in one of the corners and not quite, it kind of presses on the fabric and could potentially damage it if you don't tighten it carefully. It's not the biggest deal you could live with. I don't know what to call it, a tiny warp on your fine Alcantara fabric then I think you should be fine. I kept it because I figured it wouldn't do too much damage and it would be too much of a hassle to swap out because I carried the laptop to school every day and didn't want to scratch the outside. But in the end it might just be that I got it.
