Excellent spikes! I chose the black type as I prefer not to "play" the foot in the bindings while cycling as the cleats deploy quickly and smoothly and the ankles rotate in slightly when I stop. Due to the screw problem, I can only give the product four stars. As others have noted, the included screws were too short - at least for the holes in my 25 year old Diadora bike shoes. Only four of my old screws were workable, but among the thousands of different hardware my husband has collected over the years, I found two compatible screws which I added with additional washers to keep each plank firmly and securely in place. Those who are not lucky enough to live with a miser will. Spring, . (assume!)
