Review on 🐱 Optimized Pet Club Cat Tree by Sean Chase

I bought this tree thinking about my older cats. They love to climb and we recently had a kitten so we thought this might help them get some peace and quiet from a new kitten. Although I bought this for my older cats after it was collected, I understand they probably won't use it often. The larger house (down in the tree) is big enough for my cats, but everything else seems small to them. Ramps/stairs aren't a big deal for big cats, especially smaller ones. My older cats are big boys. One is 13 years old and weighs 16 pounds (black cat in photos). It's very long for a cat. Our other cat is 10 years old and weighs 14 pounds (orange cat in photos). They both explored the tree, but apart from standing on it several times or sitting in the big house, they made little use of it. Let's see if that changes after a while. All in all I like this tree. It's durable and well constructed. I currently have it on my carpet and it's still going strong. Even though the perches are a bit small for my adult cats, the wood is strong enough to hold them. The assembly is easy, although the instructions are only pictures. It took me about 40 minutes to assemble. I thought I would have to enlist my husband's support, but I was able to do it myself. I followed the instructions' advice and sorted the parts before beginning assembly. I noticed a faint smell, something like the smell of new carpet. It wasn't bad, but it was definitely noticeable. The smell went away after a few days. If you're really sensitive to it, I'd suggest airing it out in the garage or outside for a day or two. It's easy to move around the house. I can walk alone, but I feel better with help. One suggestion: you can remove the bottom ramp when moving the tree. Otherwise you will bend the metal bracket or risk breaking it completely. Finally, the delivery was very fast. Ordered on 3.11. It was sent on November 4th and I received it on November 6th. The box was in excellent condition with no dents, breaks or missing parts. I would definitely recommend it to anyone with a normal sized cat or kitten.
