I bought these to see if they would work as replacements for some of my current storage bins that are in dire need of replacement. Pros: Silicone is thick and durable. Silicone is easy to clean, I can clean them in the sink in just a few minutes. The containers are foldable and take up very little space compared to their unfolded size. The containers did not pick up stains or odors. from the products stored and heated in it. Mediocre: The silicone is soft and slightly flexible. The ONLY solid part of the container is the rim that the lid snaps onto. The bottom will sag a bit due to the food inside. The downside: the lids are difficult to snap open because the rib isn't very high and it's easy to miss the lid. The lids are difficult to snap onto the containers because the containers are so soft. A few lids warp in the microwave, so I'm wondering how long they will last. The rubber stopper in the lid must be completely removed to air in the microwave, which makes it easy to lose it. Containers sag and are difficult to handle when food is inside. Attempting to carry them with food inside ends up either holding them by the very narrow edge or holding them from underneath and hoping you don't push the food out from above. In general, this is a good choice. But they have a lot of room for improvement. A big change I would make, given the choice, would be to add a hard bottom to the bins. It will make great efforts to improve the experience and usability. I like the easy cleaning and love the fact that they fold up. I don't like instability and the lids are a concern that they won't last as long as some of the others I've had. Hope this helps someone else.
