This is a really beautiful teapot and I smile when I see it. It boils water well and keeps water hot for a second cup. I'm only giving it 4 stars because it's tinned and I thought it was solid copper. However, this seems to be common with other handmade copper teapots from Turkey and does not appear to have any adverse health effects. (As in aluminum, for example.) A word of caution: keep the flame lower than in a wide-bottomed saucepan. And remember, there's no whistle here, so don't leave the room. Otherwise, enjoy the extravagant designs and try new organic tea aromas. Green Jasmine is a favorite while Earl Gray is best organic. For your health! :)
