I got these to help with the twists for a modern dance class I wanted to try. The twists were too hard as the bare feet stuck to the dance floor (you think Marley?). I'm not an experienced contemporary dancer, so I didn't realize how many falls to the floor would occur in the class. I was having problems with my knee and all the motion of falling and rolling on the floor seemed to irritate my knee so I eventually had to stop. But in the few weeks I was late it really helped with twists and turns! One day I will try again once all possible injuries are gone. They can come in handy as training shoes for other styles.
