My 9-year-old is super crafty and creative. Craft foam, tacky glue, Sharpies, googly eyes, glitter, ten different types of tape. pretty much every part of my house is clogged with the stuff. But in the age of YouTube and Minecraft it's nice to see her sit down and pursue creative activities. When her most recent birthday rolled around I ordered this because it featured a llamacorn, slothicorn, and purrmaid. I knew she'd love all of it but it wound up being her favorite birthday gift (even over a bunch of Littlest Pet Shop figures and a Calico Critters house).The different crafts required very little help (the llamacorn sewing was the only part she struggled with) and no other materials other than a pair of scissors. I've already purchased the unicorn kit for Christmas since I know it'll be opened, used, and loved before the holiday is even over. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
