The first speaker worked as described but it was NOT explained that you cannot use both functions with a walkie-talkie and a phone. I contacted the seller and they told me to watch the tutorial video on their site. This video didn't help much, just showed how to set up and test the device. After you connect your phone, the speaker does not play audio from the walkie-talkie. Attempts to disconnect the phone and reconnect the walkie-talkie were unsuccessful, and the device again failed to work with the walkie-talkie. At this point I really wanted the device to work so I was forced to return it for another one as their support team couldn't tell me how to reset it. Being very tech savvy I couldn't figure out how to reset it. Return was the only option. I got a replacement from Revain and the second dose unit works but the sound quality from this speaker is not very good and not at all as loud as the first unit. This unit also needs to be returned and I will not be looking for a replacement at this time. While this product seems mature, strong and durable, its short life span prevented me from testing it properly.
