I bought this rather than investing in a big one as I have never used an air purifier before. I have really bad allergies all year round. I suffer from sinusitis very often. Whenever I feel my throat hurt, I close my bedroom door and sleep with it on. When I wake up, my sore throat is gone! I haven't had a sinus infection since I have what I should have had. I actually bought 2 and gave one to my mom for the same reason. It's small enough to take to another room and not get in the way. This is probably the best purchase I've made all year!
